Where our money comes from
Simply Pure only works if you can trust the score. So here is exactly who pays for it.
Revenue breakdown

Why it works this way
Scores that manufacturers can buy are worthless. Simply Pure is paid for by the people who use it, so the only side we are on is yours.
Scanning and scores are free for everyone. Premium extras, like themes and diet filters, are sold inside the apps through the App Store and Google Play. Contributions here are pure support. Cancel anytime.
Where it goes
- Server costs: product lookups, community submissions, recall checks.
- Keeping the additive and ingredient databases current with EFSA, SCCS, Health Canada, and Japan's positive list.
- Supporting a two-person startup trying to help everyone find Simply Pure products.

Supporting here keeps Simply Pure independent. It is separate from the app stores: premium app extras are purchased inside the apps.
Become a supporter
Choose an annual amount. Checkout is handled by Stripe (card details never touch our servers). The contribution renews automatically each year until you cancel, which you can do anytime from the app's Profile screen or from the Stripe receipt email. Stripe emails a reminder before each renewal.
Contributions are voluntary; the core app stays free for everyone either way. Studio86 is not a charity, so contributions are not tax-deductible charitable donations.
